Catapult is a web-based tool designed to enable businesses, membership organisations and networks to communicate effectively via highly targeted email distribution.

Catapult enables you to create any number of mailing lists to correspond with services you offer or areas of special interest. You can then assign each of the people in your contacts database to as many or as few of these lists as you wish.

Catapult enables you to easily compose formatted emails - with graphics, images, custom fonts etc - either starting from scratch, uploading a Word document, or using a template. You can then send your message to one or more lists.

Use Catapult to send out news quickly to the right person for effective marketing and communications. For example you will be able to send out details of a training programme to HR contacts, or a press release about your new product to all purchasing managers.

If you wish you can allow your contacts to log on and change their list preferences - so avoiding sending unwanted mail to anyone, and keeping your contacts list right up to date.

Technical considerations

Catapult users need nothing other than a standard internet connection and web browser. The system itself is hosted by York Multimedia Network at Energis Communications in Leeds, UK - we look after it 24x7 and include full backups, all as part of the service.
